Ostwald Bros is continually recruiting new staff and invites applications/expressions of interest for listed vacancies. The company drug and alcohol policy requires all staff to undergo medical assessments including random drug and alcohol tests.

Ostwald Bros employs experienced diesel fitters at its Plant and Maintenance Division in Dalby. We are seeking qualified fitters committed to delivering a high standard of maintenance to work full-time at the Dalby workshop. You will have a trade Qualification and HR Licence. Experience with earthmoving equipment/modern transport fleet will be highly regarded.



Ostwald Bros is looking for several experienced Truck Drivers with a current MC drivers licence, a clean driving history and a commitment to safety. For insurance purposes drivers must be over 25 years of age. Suitable applicants will hold or be prepared to obtain a construction induction card (QLD Blue Card or National White Card); QLD Coal board medical certificate; QLD Generic coal mine induction passport; fatigue management training. You will have a been driving for a minimum of three years and experience with side tippers will be highly regarded.



Opportunties are available for agitator drivers to join Ostwald Bros concrete and quarries team.You will need a current HR licence, experience in commercial driving with a good driving history and a commitment to zero harm. Good communication skills, a high level of energy and sound numerical skills will be well regarded.
Our drivers maintain a positive attitude and strong customer focus.



Ostwald Bros requires additional purchasing clerks to join the team in providing general administration and support for Major Projects, based at our Dalby head office.

Your role will be to maintain external hire functions, update supervisors on new monthly purchase orders, goods receipt dockets and dry timesheets, as well as reconcile invoices for Accounts Payable.

You will have the ability to work in a high performance team environment, have an eye for detail, good computer literacy and an ability to prioritise. You will be able to communicate effectively and comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System.

Our preference is that you have experience in a similar role in construction, mining or building and experience with pronto software will be well regarded.



Civil construction company, Ostwald Bros is looking for a Spare Parts Interpreter to be based at our Dalby head office. This a is great opportunity for someone who has knowledge of CAT, Komatsu and/or Volvo machinery or is currently in a Spare Parts or Interpreter role looking to move forward in a growing business. Duties include warehouse maintenance, goods receiving and dispatching, house keeping, purchasing of parts and heavy lifting as required.

You will hold a current manual drivers licence (forklift licence is desirable) and have computer experience (Pronto is preferred but not essential).

 



Ostwald Bros requires an experienced Boilermaker to join our Central Qld workshop team. You will have structural steel experience with mechanical knowledge and have the ability to produce high quality fabrications, repair plant and equipment and interpret technical drawings. You should thrive in a close-knit team environment, communicate confidently and work well under pressure with limited supervision.


We are looking for an experienced Concrete Batcher to join our Dalby batch plant team. You will be responsible for accurate batching of pre-mix concrete, ordering and stock control, and housekeeping of plant and yard. You will need to work well within a team and have concrete batching experience, current HR drivers licence, front end loader ticket and blue or white construction safety card.



Ostwald Bros requires an experienced Concrete and Quarry Sales Representative to join our team. In this business development role you will be responsible for expanding the company's Concrete and Quarries division and developing new business as well as maintaining the current customer base.  You will quote on orders, follow up new leads and referrals, identify and resolve customer concerns, and report on market activities and customer visits.

You must have proven sales experience, construction industry experience (preferably in the concrete industry), blue or white construction safety card, excellent customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, manual drivers licence, motivation, self-discipline and the ability to close a sale.



Queensland is entering a new phase of Construction activity with major development in the Gas and Coal fields of the Surat and Bowen basins.
To meet this demand Ostwald Bros is seeking expressions of interest from project managers, civil engineers, civil supervisors and surveyors for current and upcoming works in regional Queensland.
