Ostwald Bros won gold in the Construction, Manufacturing and Engineering category of the Dalby Business Excellence Awards following on from ‘Business of the Year’ titles in 2007 and 2008.

Ostwald Bros general manager Matt Ostwald said although the company was proud to accept the gold award within its category, all businesses that participated in the awards deserve congratulations.

“We applaud all businesses in the Dalby Business Excellence Awards because their participation shows they are committed to continual business improvement.

“We were pleased to accept acknowledgement for the hard work that goes into expanding and developing a business the size of Ostwald Bros however much of the congratulations must also go to our staff whose dedication delivers the strength behind the company.

“We operate in a high risk environment and as specialists in regional and remote developments we require a strong level of commitment from our people on the ground.

“Ostwald Bros has developed a sought-after reputation for delivering on customer expectations and it is this quality performance that keeps us out in front.”

Mr Ostwald said the Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry also deserved recognition for offering a clear assessment procedure with the potential to deliver valuable businesses feedback.

 “This year’s application format encouraged a considered process of review in vital areas of business and we are looking forward to the opportunities provided for feedback.

“We congratulate the Chamber on its initiative and the additional work that went into getting it up and running.

“Once again it was a great social night for local business people and we enjoyed celebrating with businesses that, like Ostwald Bros, are constantly striving for excellence in business,” Mr Ostwald said.
