Ostwald Bros. firmly believes in being a part of the communities in which we operate - assisting community projects, sporting events and festivals through sponsorship and in-kind support. We are committed to supporting initiatives that progress regional living standards.
Dalby
Our head office is in Dalby, in the heart of the Darling Downs. This region is known for its grain, cotton and feedlot industries. Recently the area's rich coal and gas supplies have given rise to major new energy projects. We support Dalby's modern country lifestyle through sponsorship of community projects and events. Recent sponsorships include:
Native fish passage along the Condamine River at Loudoun Weir, near Dalby.
The Condamine Alliance has been able to secure a $63,000 Recreational Fishing Community Grant to support a native fish passage and we have lent construction and engineering expertise to ensure the success of this $190,000 project.
Dalby Picnic Races
The Dalby Picnic Race Day is a celebrated racing tradition on the Darling Downs and a popular annual event on the region's social calendar. We are a proud sponsor of this event, which provides a valuable showcase for local industry.
Dalby and District Showgrounds
Ostwald Bros. has sponsored major civil works to help complete a significant upgrade of the Dalby and District Showgrounds which includes the construction of a $3.2 million undercover arena. Once completed the facility will deliver an up-to-the-minute venue for sporting, cultural and equestrian events, market days and trade displays.
Moura
Ostwald Bros. has a branch office in Moura - located 200 km south west of Rockhampton - and are commited to developing partnerships with the local community.
We are regular sponsors of the annual Moura Coal and Country Festival, held each August to celebrate the coal, cattle, cotton and grain industries that support the region.
