Home >  Case Studies > Peabody Wilkie Creek Coal  This project involves the loading and transportation of coal from the Peabody wash plant to the Rail Load Out Facility in McAllister.  Initially the operation was run utilizing three type-two road trains on a 24-hour basis, but due to our close working relationship to Queensland Transport Ostwald Bros now operate two A.B. quad combinations.  All aspects of the Quad operations are monitored through state-of-the-art Satellite tracking systems with direct reporting to Queensland Transport.  On average there is in excess of 2 million tonnes of coal transported annually.
